1> Compact design. This 30-50T/H pump fed koi drum filter is small in size. Measures 1600*600*720mm. with a big filtration capacity up to 50 tons per hour. suitable for pond 50m3 .
2> Solid and Durable. This 50T/H pond drum filter chamber is made of 1.5mm thick 304 stainless steel. filtration screen, bearings are made of 316L. make the filter highly solid durable, corrosion resistance and ageing resistant with a design lifespan up to 20 years. can be used in harsh enviroments.
3> Precise Filtration. This rotary drum filter koi, with a 100um filtration screen. can effectively remove the emove solid waste and debris from the water.
4> Refined Water Quality. This drum pond filter is a combination of machanical filtration and biological filtration by adding uv lamps and biochemical filtration media.the UV lamps benefit fish pond maintenance by effectively killing harmful bacteria, algae, and other pathogens in the water. Biochemical filtration media for koi ponds offer several benefits, including promoting the growth of beneficial bacteria that help break down harmful ammonia and nitrites produced by fish waste. These helps to improve water quality, reduce the risk of diseases among fish, and maintain a clean and healthy environment for aquatic life in the pond.
5> Fully Automatic Operation. This 50T/H drum filter combined with an intelligent control system can adjust and set the automatic backwash time according to the user's preferences and the cleanliness of the fish pond, making management easier with a more user-friendly control.
6> Easy Installation. This rotary drum filter koi pond is a plug and play system. We advise to use flexible rubber couplings to connect your PVC pipes to the in- and outlets of the filter.

What is a Pump Fed Drum Filter? How it Works and What It's Applications?
A pump-fed drum filter is a type of mechanical filtration system used in ponds, especially koi ponds, to remove solid waste from the water column. It uses a pump to force pond water through a rotating drum with a fine mesh screen. We make various types of pump-fed rotary drum filters from 5T/H to 120T/H to meet the needs of different customers. we also offer customization service.
How it works:
1.A pump pushes pond water into the drum filter.
2.The water flows through the rotating drum, which has a fine 316L stainless steel filtration mesh screen.
3.Solid waste like fish waste, leaves, and debris gets trapped on the mesh screen as the water go through.
4.The drum continuously rotates, and a spray bar with high-pressure water jets periodically cleans the mesh screen, flushing the collected debris out of the filter.
Applications:
Pump-fed drum filters are well-suited for a variety of pond applications, including:
Koi ponds: Koi are particularly messy fish, and pump-fed drum filters can effectively remove large amounts of waste from koi ponds, helping to maintain water quality and fish health.
Fish ponds with high fish loads: If you have a pond with a lot of fish, a pump-fed drum filter can help to keep up with the high volume of waste that is produced.
Ponds with skimmers: Pump-fed drum filters can be used in conjunction with skimmers to remove both surface debris and waste from the water column.
Ponds that are difficult to gravity-feed: If your pond setup makes it difficult to install a gravity-fed rotary drum filter, a pump-fed system can be a good alternative.
Advantages of pump-fed drum filters:
Versatility: They can be installed above the pond water level, with a bottom drain or skimmer.
Efficiency: They are highly effective at removing solid waste from the water column.
Automation: Most pump-fed drum filters are self-cleaning, which means they require minimal maintenance.
Disadvantages of pump-fed drum filters:
Cost: Pump-fed drum filters can be more expensive than gravity-fed rotary drum filters.
Energy consumption: They require a pump to operate, which can add to your energy costs.
Maintenance: While they are self-cleaning, you will still need to periodically remove the collected debris from the filter.
Overall, pump-fed drum filters are a powerful and efficient way to remove solid waste from fish ponds. They are a good option for koi ponds, ponds with high fish loads, and ponds that are difficult to gravity-feed.
