Advantages of Standard Output Electronic UV Lamp Ballast:

  A standard output UV ballast is an electronic device that regulates the voltage and current of a UV-C lamp, allowing it to run standard output UV germicidal light bulbs. Standard output UV bulbs are cheaper than high output bulbs but have a lower UV output wattage. Standard UV output lamps typically operate at less than 425 mA. 

  A UV bulb ballast converts a sinusoidal AC input of around 50-60 Hz into a 20-80 kHz square or sine wave pulse output, eliminating flicker. The ballast converts the input voltage to the 400–1,000 volts required to spark the lamp because UV-C lamps need a high voltage applied between the electrodes to spark. 

Standard output fixtures can be installed in ducts, supply, return, or exhaust plenums to disinfect moving air streams and surfaces. They can be connected end-to-end using PnP connections for fast and reliable installations of any length and number of rows

Cautions:

1.  Please make sure the power is off when you install or maintain the ballast

2. The distance between ballast and lamp tube should no longer than 5M.

3. The suggested wire specific: diameter 0.5-1mm, wire stripping 0.8-1mm

4. The aluminum shell should be grounded.
